At the beginning of November this year, governments and civil society organisations met in Athens for the third Global Forum on Migration and Development.

In this interview, Rene Plaetevoet, director of the NGO December 18, explains the Global Forum on Migration and Development to Cathy Aitchison.

The Global Forum takes place in Athens from 2nd till the 5th November:
~ the civil society forum is on the 2nd and 3rd,
~ the governmental forum follows, on the 4th and 5th.

There is also the People's Global Action on Migration and Development, running parallel throughout the four days.
